David Harris is a writer/producer based in Los Angeles.

Currently, he develops unscripted TV pitches for the Intellectual Property Corporation (IPC), and previously did the same for Pulse Films (Vice Media) and the Jackal Group (Fox TV).  

Before that, he produced a 6-part doc-series for AOL Studios/TechCrunch on Silicon Valley, and was the Supervising Producer for “Six Degrees of Everything” (truTV).  He was also a producer at Alpine Labs, a UTA-repped boutique prod co where he developed sizzles and pitch decks for various networks.

He has optioned projects to companies including Discovery Studios and Critical Content, and worked as a Producer for Gryphon Productions in Vancouver (“Biggest and Baddest,” Nat Geo Wild, “Killing Bigfoot,” Destination America).  David has directed/produced :30 broadcast TV spots, an interactive education video series and has overseen digital branding campaigns primarily for nonprofits and colleges such as Columbia College Hollywood, Art Center and Loyola Marymount University.

A former journalist, he’s written for The Hollywood Reporter, Wired and Whole Life Times.

David holds an MFA in Screenwriting from the American Film Institute.
